​     In early 2025 Camp Luz will be hosting two winter youth retreats. Though similar to past winter retreats, the rebranded Blaze Winter Youth Retreats are for BOTH Jr and Sr high youth groups.  You can decide if it makes more sense for your Jr and Sr high youth to attend the same weekend or separate weekends.

     The name change is inspired by 2Timothy 1:6-7 and Acts 2.  It is our hope that all who attend these retreats will leave here ABLAZE with the love and hope of Jesus Christ though the power of the Holy Spirit.

​     Activities and schedule at both retreats will be very similar.  Some activities are weather dependent, but we will be outside for at least a few activities each weekend.  Highlights from past winter retreats include a game lounge, ice skating, snow tubing, indoor mini-golf, night games, and Luz Olympics- winter edition; just to name a few!

Q: What if I don't have a youth group to come with?
A: If you are not part of a youth group, or your group is not coming but you want to, let us know. (our contact info is at the bottom of this page) We will either pair you with another group or get some of our summer staff to come back and serve as your sponsors.

Q: Is this retreat only for Mennonite youth groups?
A: No, this retreat is open for any youth group that wants to attend.
