The OMCA was incorporated in 1953 with the purpose of building a summer youth camp. The scope of the ministry has expanded throughout the years to include a variety of programs for all ages year-round. Camp Luz is named for the place where Jacob met God as found in Genesis 28:19.
Camp Luz is a non-profit Christian organization operated by the Ohio Mennonite Camp Association. OMCA members are a vital key to the work of Camp Luz through prayer support, financial donations and voluntary service.
