Cabin Improvement Project

Our cabins have served as the primary housing area for campers and guests for the past 65 years.  Improvements have been made over the years including winterization, better lighting, and even air conditioning.  However, not all cabins were upgraded at the same time or with the same materials, which has led to inconsistent appearance.
Additionally, not everything has been improved.  For example, campers today still sleep on the same bunk beds that their grandparents did when the camp first opened, and several cabins still have bare concrete floors.
The Cabin Improvement Project will address some of these issues by...
  • Placing new bunk beds and mattresses (upgraded to standard twin size, with ladders) in all the cabins
  • Painting all interior walls and ceilings
  • Finishing bare concrete floors
  • Replacing wooden siding with vinyl that matches the other cabins
  • Installing metal roofs on remaining cabins as the shingles begin to wear out

Funding needs have been broken down by the cabin, based on the work that each particular cabin will receive.  Will you, your family, Sunday school class, small group, church, or business help us prepare for the next 65 years of campers by funding the upgrade for one of our cabins?
