Youth Retreat

November 7-9, 2008

A fun filled weekend for ALL Sr. High youth groups. We play an awesome night game called Persecution, kick up our heels with the "Fall Fest", and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Cost for the retreat is $80 per youth, sponsors are free. We recommend trying to bring 1 sponser for every 6-7 youth.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is this retreat only for Mennonite youth groups?
A: No. Although we are affiliated with the Mennonite Church, this retreat is open for any youth group that wants to come.

Q: What if I don't have a youth group to come with?
A: If you are not part of a youth group, or your group is not coming but you want to, let us know. (our contact info is at the bottom of this page) We will either pair you with another group or get some of our summer staff to come back and serve as your sponsors.

Q: What is "Persecution"?
A: Persecution is a game that is designed to get the players thinking about what it would be like to be persecuted for being a Christian. It is played at night and uses the entire camp. You will want to bring dark clothes because the game involves having to sneak around camp to "safehouses" without being caught by the guards.
