Summer Camp 2009

Below are some short descriptions of our weeks of camp. Each week also contains exciting stuff like swimming, boating, outdoor meals, recreation, nature, crafts, cabin group activities and opportunities to grow closer to God. We carefully and prayerfully select the summer staff knowing that you are sending us a most precious gift - your children! We strive to provide a loving environment where campers are safe and comfortable.

Outpost Camps Ages 12-18
These are for those who are looking for something a bit more extreme than your typical week of camp. We are still ironing out the details, but they will likely involve lots of adventure, very few showers, and a whole lot of the good old outdoors. This summer there will be two weeks for Jr. High age Boys, one week for Jr. High age Girls, and one week co-ed for High School age youth.

Youth Camp        Ages 15-18
Friendships made during this week often last for a lifetime. We turn up the volume with the Coffee House, the infamous night game Persecution, and wonderful worship of our God Almighty. Need we say more?

Girls Camp        Ages 9-11
No boy campers allowed! Girls will enjoy a week especially planned to celebrate who they are in God’s family. Pajama party, God's Hollow, and other activities make for an unforgettable week!

Boys Camp      Ages 9-11
No girl campers allowed! This week provides an energetic, life-impacting experience for young men. Sleeping out at God’s Hollow, playing the “Fire & Water” game, and the tough cabin competition are just a few of the highlights of this camp!

Fine Arts Camp      Ages 9-14
Experience God through a week of creativity. We are still working on the details, but more than likely campers will sign up for 2-3 concentrations in which they will have the opportunity to learn and practice various fine arts. The concentrations will likely include Drama, Music (Vocal), Music (instrumental), Painting/Drawing, and Ceramics/Pottery. Friday evening campers will present their work in an Celebration of the Arts.

Mini Camp        Ages 7-8
Three days of phenomenal fun, games and learning. This week is the perfect opportunity to experience camp. Caring responsible counselors make an exciting week for first-time campers!

Jr. High Camp      Ages 12-13
A week jam-packed with joyful Jesus jammin’! Pony express, Capture the Flag, and lots of other out-of-sight activities provide opportunities for youth to grow, laugh and learn. This is also the youngest camp to get to play a night game

Jr. Teen Camp        Ages 13-14
An unimaginable week filled with the unexpected! Campers participate in the entire Challenge Course and discover more about themselves and God through every minute of our time together.

Fledgling Camp      Ages 8-10
Young campers have four days of adventures! Lots of traditional camp activities are planned including swimming, boating, parachute games and worship times.
