2013 Summer Programs

Below are some short descriptions of our weeks of camp. Each week also contains exciting stuff like swimming, boating, outdoor meals, recreation, nature, crafts, cabin group activities and opportunities to grow closer to God. We carefully and prayerfully select the summer staff knowing that you are sending us a most precious gift - your children! We strive to provide a loving environment where campers are safe and comfortable.

Basic Summer Camp Schedule

Interested in joining our summer staff team?

Youth Camp        Ages 15-18
Friendships made during this week often last for a lifetime. We turn up the volume with the Coffee House, the infamous night game Persecution, and wonderful worship of our God Almighty. Need we say more?

Jr. High Camp 1 & 2      Ages 12-14
Embrace the excitement and challenge that is Jr High! This is the youngest program to take on the Challenge Course and Giant's Backbone (50' tree climb and rappel), as well as play a night game across the entire campground.

The program will be basically the same for both Jr High 1 and Jr High 2, we just wanted to offer two options for busy summer schedules.

Girls Camp        Ages 9-11
No boy campers allowed! Girls will enjoy a week especially planned to celebrate who they are in God’s family. Pajama party, God's Hollow, and other activities make for an unforgettable week!

Boys Camp      Ages 9-11
No girl campers allowed! This week provides an energetic, life-impacting experience for young men. "Man Crafts, playing the Fire & Water game, and the tough cabin competition are just a few of the highlights of this camp!

Fledgling Camp      Ages 8-10
Young campers have four days of adventures! Lots of traditional camp activities are planned including swimming, boating, parachute games and worship times.

Mini Camp        Ages 7-9
Three days of phenomenal fun, games and learning. This week is the perfect opportunity to experience camp. Caring responsible counselors make an exciting week for first-time campers!

My Grown Up and Me       Ages 4-6 and Adult
This day-camp-style program offers children ages 4-6 an opportunity to experience some of the same activities as older kids, with the company of a grown up (typically a parent or grandparent).

Family Camp Weekend All Ages
Why should the kids get to have all the fun? Bring the whole family to camp for an amazing weekend of recreation, worship, and relaxation. There will be a mix of activities for all ages, including some "Kids Only" activities.

Adventure Camp Ages 15-18
This high school age camp is the sequel to our Outpost Camps, no previous experience required, just a desire to be active in the great outdoors. We will stay in the outpost site while at Luz, but also head off the camp for a bit more adventure.

Outpost Camps Ages 12-14
If sitting around the campfire, living in a tent and adventure are your cup of tea, then Outpost is the camp for you.
