8-18-2011: We are currently transitioning staff, but rest assured, we will continue to move forward with the vision of Camp Luz! Our incoming director, Andrew Michaels, has been a part of the vision process here almost since it started, and he is excited to get to work on it.

New Logo:
The new Camp Luz logo was presented at the annual meeting January 24, 2011. It is the tree that can be seen in the header of this website. Here is a .pdf that explains some of the meaning that is found in the new logo. New Logo Explanation

Vision Statement:
Several years ago we began the process of seeking a vision statement for the ministry here at Camp Luz. God has lead us on a long journey to bring us to the vision that HE has for us. At the OMCA annual meeting back in January of 2010 we introduced the statement "Freely proclaiming the radical hope of Jesus Christ to the next generation". Since that time Deb and Andrew have been working at sharing the vision at churches and with groups that come to camp. Because we are not able to make it to every church we produced a video of Deb sharing some of what this vision means for us. This video is available for viewing below.

A Vision Planning committee has been formed to process what this new vision means for the ministry. Please keep this in your prayers as we move forward boldly following God's leading.
