Outpost at Camp Luz

The outpost program at Camp Luz is designed to immerse campers in the great outdoors, in a very rustic setting. Campers will stay at one of our two outpost campsites, in large tents set on wooden platforms. Nearly all meals are prepared by the campers and staff at the campsite. We also typically try to spend one night at God’s Hollow, a piece of land that the camp owns about 2 miles away.
Outpost usually takes two off-site trips, one to go canoeing and biking, the other to go climbing and rappelling.
Bug repellant and sunscreen are highly recommended, as you will be spending the vast majority of the week outdoors.
The schedule of outpost is very relaxed, with lots of “unstructured” time for campers to interact, play games, and be creative.
Bible Studies are lead daily by our outpost staff, using the same curriculum as our traditional summer program.
